Part of the reason Lerdorf considers the Web „broken” is that it is inherently insecure for a variety of reasons. One of those reasons sits at the feet of developers.
„You don’t know that you have to filter user input,” Lerdorf exclaimed.
Lerdorf advised PHP developers that nothing that comes across the wire is to be trusted. Header „stupidity,” as Lerdorf referred to it in Apache HTTP Web server, can also be the root cause for the broken Web.
Then there is Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, which has „stupidity” issues with character set detection, arbitrary header injection, host header spoofing and request splitting. Is PHP The Cure For The ‘Broken’ Web?

Also je mehr ich mich mit PHP beschäftige, um so seltsamer kommen mir die „Programmierer” dort vor. So bin ich etwa unlängst über einen kleinen Online-Artikel gestolpert, der mich doch etwas verwundert hat.
Er hatte allerdings einige GUTE Hinweise für Programmierer drinnen, wie man SQL-Injections verhindern kann.

i write on a mail programm and now i want to implement the funktion you now from outlook. the "read notification" which is no problem and the "delivery notification" which makes some problems. i dont now how it is working??
i foud the rfc822 which schould be xplain all the mail header information ... but i cant find information about this function!!
i dont now where i schould look for information?!?!

Jetzt muss ich mal meinem Grant Luft machen. Da hatte ich die Aufgabe, einen Online-Shop für einen Kunden "fertig" zu machen. m3, kümmer Dich drum, daer hakt a "bissl".
"A bissl" war leicht untertrieben :(
Der Pfuscher von Autor will doch tatsächlich mit einem "system"-Call die Datenbank anlegen, Was der Pfuscher nicht bedacht hatte war, dass nicht jeder mysql im Pfad hat. Und einen Rückgabewert bracuht man ja sowieso nicht checken. Gut den Fehler hab ich gefunden, nachdem er nie mit der DB connecten konnte ich dann endlich mal in die leere (Überraschung!) DB geschuat hab.
