[HOWTO] Debian Woody auf einem IBM Thinkpad R40 CDG-2722

Ich erwarb dieses Jahr ein IBM Thinkpad R40 vom Typus TR4CDAT / CDG-2722 und möchte hier meine bisherigen Schritte notieren die ich setzte um die Maschine nutzbar zu machen unter Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (Woody).

Hi Leute,

bin gerade im extremen Entscheidungsnotstand :)

Fast zeitgleich bieten Lidl/DE und Hofer/AT jeweils ein Monster-mäßgies Notebook an; mit den jeweiligen Vor-&Nachteilen, und ich kann mich einfach nicht entscheiden |-(

Lidl am 29.1.: ist von Targa, hat weniger Gewicht (3.1kg) aber bei 15'' nur 1024x768
Hofer am 30.1.: hat etwas mehr Gewicht (3.7kg), bei 15'' 1400x1050 Auflösung, ist aber von Gericom ???
